🗓️ Day 1 – Srinagar to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds)

● Scenic drive through mountain passes and pine forests to Pahalgam (approx. 6–7 hrs).
● En route, view the Chenani–Nashri Tunnel, Banihal Tunnel, and countryside villages.
● Arrive in Pahalgam and check into your hotel.
● Evening at leisure by the Lidder River or local bazaar.
● Overnight in Pahalgam.

🗓️ Day 2 – Pahalgam Local Valleys

● Aru Valley – tranquil meadows and hills
● Betaab Valley – Bollywood’s favorite filming spot.
● Chandanwari – gateway to the Amarnath Yatra route.
● Optional: pony rides, nature walks, or riverside relaxation.
● Overnight in Pahalgam.

🗓️ Day 3 – Pahalgam to Srinagar (Houseboat Stay)

● Drive to Srinagar (90km/approx. 3 hrs) and check in to a Deluxe Houseboat on Dal Lake.
● Enjoy a serene Shikara Ride through floating gardens and markets.
● Evening leisure on the lake or lakeside boulevard.
● Overnight in Srinagar (Houseboat).

🗓️ Day 4 – Day Excursion to Gulmarg

● Full-day excursion to Gulmarg (52km/approx. 2 hrs one way).
● Gulmarg Golf Course St. Mary’s Church Maharani Temple in Local Cab
● Gondola Ride to Apharwat Peak
● Return to Srinagar by evening.
● Overnight in Srinagar (Houseboat).

🗓️ Day 5 – Day Excursion to Sonmarg

● Drive to Sonamarg, “The Meadow of Gold” (80km/approx. 2.5 hrs each way).
● Scenic drive along the Sindh River.
● Optional pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (own cost).
● Return to Srinagar and check in at your hotel.
● Overnight in Srinagar (Hotel).

🗓️ Day 6 – Srinagar Heritage & Mughal Gardens Tour

● Shankaracharya Temple Gurdwara Chatti Padshahi Hazratbal Shrine
● Afternoon: Mughal Gardens – Nishat, Shalimar, Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal
● Shopping at Lal Chowk or Polo View Market
● Enjoy an authentic Kashmiri Wazwan meal (optional).
● Overnight in Srinagar (Hotel).

🗓️ Day 7 – Departure Day

● Enjoy a morning Shikara ride (if time permits).
● Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.
● Guests with early flights will be dropped directly.

Created from my own Army family experiences in Jammu & Kashmir — including my father’s posting in Udhampur during the Kargil War — this itinerary follows a meaningful route that blends personal memories with the region’s most beautiful highlights.

This is a luxury trip with 4-star hotels at least in all places.
Final hotel shortlist will be shared to all customers before collecting payments.
Our hotels cost on average ₹8,000 – ₹10,000 per night.

3. What type of meals do we expect?

We include 2 meals on all days . On Some days we will have Lunch as well .Let the Lunch's be a surprise we dont want to talk about it .

Many days we will return to our hotel for rest during the afternoon , you can have lunch directly by ordering A la carte in hotel ( on direct payment basis ) or have it during the tour in some outside outlet .

5. Arrival and departure time restrictions

Our First day is Free , you can arrive any time . We will Pick you and drop you to the hotel for rest and acclimatization . Our Main itinerary begins the next day . On the Last day we can arrange a drop for you any time . Your coordinator for both pick up and drop is assigned to you in advance Most of the times the coordination is done by Hotels and we expect you to ensure they are informed about drops and re confirmed one day before departure.

6. What is a typical group size?

We are an old company, trying to build a new segment.
We hope to have a small group of like-minded people.
The tour will operate for any size of 4 or more people.
Transport will be arranged accordingly.

7. Are these trips escorted

Yes — we will either have a local guide or a trip leader from Purple on these trips.

8. How do we book?

A small advance is followed by hotel confirmations from our team.
You need to pay the balance based on the departure date.
Our sales team will connect with you for this.

9. What happens if I want to cancel this tour after advance payments

Only 30% is cancellation fees for any booking till 8 days before arrival.

• We book hotels which have scope for cancellations with less charges.

• Our cancellation charges include cancellations of train, transport, hotels, and the hard work of our team.

• Refund is initiated within 21 days to the same account we collected from.
• If you decide to book with us within 12 months, we will adjust 15% in your next booking.
• In case cancellation is received within 8 days and at least 3 days before arrival – we will charge 50%.
• There is no refund possible for last-minute cancellations less than 3 days to arrival; still, we will try our best to adjust a maximum in your next booking (less than 50%).

11. Do you book flights?

We do — we charge a small service fee (₹1,000 per person).
We try to book refundable fares with maximum refunds possible in case of cancellations.
However, you can book your own flights as well.

12. What should I pack?

Summer: Light woolens + comfortable clothing
Winter: Heavy woolens, jackets, gloves, caps, thermals
Snow areas: Waterproof shoes & jackets are recommended
