This cancellation policy is applicable for Tailor Made Tours 

Unless Specified in the Proposal You recieve , this policy will be followed

Purple vacations works as an intermediary for planning and booking holidays for travelers, hence every cancellation has two kind of charges – an Agency fee charged by Purple vacations & an Actual fee charged by various travel suppliers. Following is the description for various charges in cases of Full as well as Partial cancellation.

1. General Information

Our aim is to provide clear and accurate information. All details shared are specific to the tour and should be read carefully before booking.

2. Types of Tours

2.1 Fixed Departure Tours
  • Designed for group travel on specific dates
  • Operate only when minimum participants are met
  • Focus on culture, environment, and shared experiences
  • Guided by tour leaders
2.2 Tailor-Made Tours
  • Customized based on client requirements
  • Pricing depends on group size and preferences
  • Flexible accommodation, transport, and itinerary options

3. Pricing Policy

  • Prices vary depending on accommodation, transport, and group size
  • Categories include Classic, Premium, and Luxury
  • Prices are quoted per person
  • Additional costs may apply for:
    • Optional activities
    • Entry fees
    • Special services

    • 4. Inclusions & Exclusions

    Included
    • Accommodation as per itinerary
    • Meals as specified (Breakfast / Half Board / Full Board)
    • Transport (except where mentioned)
    • Tour leader (for fixed departures)
    Not Included
    • Flights (unless specified)
    • Personal expenses (laundry, beverages, etc.)
    • Insurance
    • Entry tickets (parks/monuments)
    • Optional activities 

    5. Accommodation

  • Based on availability and location
  • May vary in remote areas
  • Single occupancy requires additional charges
  • Triple sharing may include extra beds

    • 6. Meals

    • Meals are provided as per plan
    • In remote regions, food options may be limited
    • Special dietary requirements must be informed in advance 

    7. Transport

    • Surface transport included in most tours
    • Alternative arrangements may be made in case of:
      • Roadblocks
      • Weather issues
      • Technical problems

    Additional booking charges:

    • Rail: ₹250 per sector
    • Tatkal: ₹500 per sector
    • Air: ₹250 per sector

    8. Flights

  • Subject to weather and operational conditions
  • Delays or cancellations are beyond control
  • Extra costs due to changes are payable by the guest

    • 9. Baggage

    • Recommended: Max 20 kg per person
    • Some routes may allow only 15 kg
    • Extra baggage charges apply 

    10. Medical & Fitness

  • Travelers must be physically fit
  • High-altitude tours require acclimatization
  • Inform about any medical conditions before booking
  • Company reserves the right to decline participation if necessary

    • 11. Insurance

  • Travel insurance is not included
  • Strongly recommended for:
    • Medical emergencies
    • Evacuation
    • Trip cancellations

    • 12. Itinerary Changes

  • Itineraries are subject to change due to:
    • Weather conditions
    • Operational challenges
    • Safety concerns
  • Maps and distances are approximate

    • 13. Cancellations

  • Tours may be canceled if minimum participants are not met
  • Notice will be provided in advance (typically 30 days)
  • Standard cancellation policies apply

    • 14. Safety & Responsibility

    • Tours may involve travel to remote and challenging areas
    • While safety is a priority, risks may exist
    • Travelers participate at their own risk

    The company is not responsible for:

    • Accidents
    • Injuries
    • Loss of belongings
    • Delays due to external factors

    15. Personal Expenses

    Guests are responsible for:

    • Laundry
    • Bar bills
    • Mineral water
    • Porter charges
    • Pony rides

    16. Additional Notes

  • Prices may change based on group size
  • Odd group sizes may require extra room charges
  • Internet services may not be available in remote areas

    • 17. Declaration

    By booking a tour, you confirm:

    • You have read and understood all terms
    • You are physically fit for the tour
    • You accept all risks involved
